1. About these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CN Framing website and online store (the "Site") and any purchase of products from CN Framing. They are governed by the laws of England and Wales. By using the Site or placing an order you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

2. Age restriction — 18+ only

The Site and any product on the Site are intended exclusively for persons aged 18 years or over. By placing an order you represent that you are at least 18. We reserve the right to verify age and to cancel and refund any order where age cannot be verified.

3. Nature of the artwork

CN Framing produces three-dimensional geometric shadowbox display pieces supplied strictly as multi-media fine art. All artworks are permanently sealed inside the shadow-box frame and are not designed to be opened, dismantled or used for any purpose beyond decorative display. Any attempt to dismantle or extract the contents is strictly prohibited and undertaken entirely at your own risk. CN Framing accepts no liability for any injury, loss or legal consequence arising from such misuse.

4. Orders and contract formation

A product listing is an invitation to treat, not an offer. Your order is an offer to buy. A binding contract is formed only when we send an order confirmation email. We may decline or cancel an order (with a full refund) for reasons including product unavailability, pricing error, suspected fraud or failure of age verification.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Shipping costs, taxes and duties are shown at checkout before you confirm the order. Payment is taken in full at the point of order via our third-party payment providers (which may include Stripe, PayPal, Shopify Payments, Apple Pay and Google Pay). By submitting payment details you authorise us and our provider to charge the total amount. Card details are handled by the payment provider and are never stored on our servers.

6. Shipping and delivery

Orders typically ship within 3 business days. Standard tracked worldwide delivery arrives in 3–8 business days once dispatched, subject to carrier and customs processing and the shipping service option selected at checkout. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. International orders may attract import duties and taxes imposed by the destination country; these are your responsibility. If a shipment is refused or returned undelivered because of an unpaid duty, we may deduct the return-shipping cost and optional extras or premium services from any refund. Transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping notifications, account and security messages) are not marketing and will still be sent while you have an active order or account.

7. Returns and refunds

For all UK / European customers:

You have the legal right to change your mind, cancel your order, or return your item for any reason (including wrong size, colour or preference) within 14 days of receiving your delivery. Note that returns filed for these reasons require the shipping label to be purchased by the buyer and shipped to the following business address: 37 Lower Road, ME15 7RH, Maidstone, Kent, United Kingdom. For returns in rare cases of damage or faulty items, we as CN Framing will cover any shipping label costs. Once you notify us of your return, you must ship the item back to us within 14 days. We will issue a full refund, including our standard outbound shipping costs, within 14 days of receiving the returned goods (or proof of return shipping).

For all US customers:

All CN Framing pieces are bespoke made to order. By placing an order you acknowledge and agree with this. We do not accept returns, exchanges or refunds for change of mind, size or colour preference, because every piece is made bespoke once your order is placed.

This does not affect your rights if an item is faulty or incorrectly supplied. If you receive a damaged or defective piece, contact us at sales@cnframing.com within 14 days of delivery with photographs and your order details. We will review the issue and, where appropriate, offer a repair, replacement or refund at our sole discretion. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 37 Lower Road, ME15 7RH, Maidstone, Kent, United Kingdom. Also note that all returns for US customers require the buyer to pay for the shipping label.

Refunds

We will notify you once we've received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you'll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we've approved your return, please contact us at sales@cnframing.com.

If your return is accepted, we'll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted or refunded.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

8. SMS marketing terms and disclosures

By providing your mobile number and opting in to SMS at checkout, on the waiting list or elsewhere on the Site, you consent to receive recurring automated marketing text messages (including product launches, restocks, promotions and cart reminders) from CN Framing at the mobile number you provided. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.

• Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier.
• Reply STOP to any message to cancel and stop receiving SMS at any time.
• Reply HELP for help, or contact sales@cnframing.com.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Available in the United States, United Kingdom and selected international carriers.

Mobile phone numbers collected for SMS marketing will not be shared or sold to third parties for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.

When you submit your details through a sign-up form, CN Framing stores that submission (including your consent selections, the consent language shown, timestamp, page URL, IP address and user-agent) in its internal admin consent records database solely to provide proof of consent if ever requested by Klaviyo or by US SMS carriers and aggregators for compliance and audit purposes. This information is never used for any other purpose and is never shared or sold to third parties or affiliates.

9. Email marketing

If you opt in to email marketing, you may unsubscribe at any time using the "unsubscribe" link in any message or by emailing sales@cnframing.com. Transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping notifications, account and security messages) are not marketing and will still be sent while you have an active order or account.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• submit false, misleading, duplicate, automated or third-party contact details;
• use the Site in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent or breaches the Computer Misuse Act 1990;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers, its database or any related infrastructure;
• introduce viruses, trojans, denial-of-service attacks or any other harmful material;
• scrape, mirror, frame, republish or exploit the Site or its contents commercially without prior written consent.

11. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including text, layout, photography, the CN Framing name and wordmark, design system and underlying code — is owned by or licensed to CN Framing. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to view the Site for personal, non-commercial use only. Third-party trademarks depicted on packaging within an artwork remain the property of their respective owners; their depiction is not an endorsement, affiliation or partnership.

12. Disclaimers and consumer rights

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available". Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under English law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any statutory rights you have as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

13. Limitation of liability

Subject to section 12, CN Framing's total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Site or any order is limited to the greater of £100 or the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special or punitive loss, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of goodwill or loss of data.

14. Compliance

We operate the Site to comply with, among others:

• the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018;
• the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 (PECR);
• the Consumer Rights Act 2015;
• the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013;
• the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002;
• the CAN-SPAM Act 2003, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act 1991 (TCPA), CCPA/CPRA and comparable US state privacy laws;
• the CTIA Messaging Principles & Best Practices for US SMS.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.

16. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, save that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere you may also bring proceedings in your home jurisdiction.
